LISETTE VAN HOOGENHUYZE
Lisette van Hoogenhuyze (b. 1991 in The Hague, NL) is a multimedia artist based in Lisbon, PT.
Her work shifts from organic abstract shapes to figurative expression, utilizing various layers and color arrangements derived from different visual motifs. Her creations invite viewers on a journey through different approaches to contemporary (sub)cultures in a recognizable yet unfamiliar way, crossing invisible boundaries.
Among many other galleries, she has displayed her work at SAATCHI GALLERY in London, Pablo's Birthday in New York, and TORCH Gallery in Amsterdam.
Her work has been represented in several renowned art fairs including Art Rotterdam, KunstRAI Amsterdam, and Enter Art Fair Copenhagen.
Van Hoogenhuyze has been awarded residencies at ATE in Mexico City, Elephant Artist Residency in London, PADA in Lisbon, and most recently, ArtInn in Jaipur.
She holds a degree in Fine Art from HKU in Utrecht and the Contemporary Art Academy in London.
