Ragnhild Nes (b. 1993 in Oslo, NO) is a visual artist based in Oslo, NO. Her artistic process involves layering distinct images that exist in isolation, creating a tapestry of fragmented realities. In her artworks objects lose their essence, becoming streaks, illuminated surfaces, and stylized landscapes where color speaks with powerful expressive and chromatic force. Among numerous other galleries, she has exhibited her works at SARP gallery in Sicily, KÖSK in Oslo, and Gyldenpris Kunsthall in Bergen. Nes has been awarded with residencies at PADA and Duplex AiR in Lisbon, POST EX in Rome, and SARP in Sicily.
